This has been a productive day so far. I've been really busy lately, trying to catch up on readings etc, playing music, going to concerts... Yesterday I met with a violinist here at Smith to see if she could play the violin for some of my songs. She has 11 years of experience and learned the song in... I don't know, 5 seconds. She's super nice, super talented, and seems very reliable! Very happy about it. Last night Kady* and I went downtown for a concert at Iron Horse. You should definitely check them out. They are also very nice, and I asked Jeffrey to add some mandolin to my songs 'cause he's very good at it. All night, people kept shouting "More mandolin!!" haha. The concert was at 10pm and after that, we went to Sam's pizza to get a slice of heaven. I got pepperoni, Kady got Black beans & avocado. Delicious! I don't know how but it was already 2AM by the time we got home. This morning we (Kady and I) went to the Farmer's Market in NoHo. It's so cute and small! We didn't buy anything but took some pictures. I'll go again sometime this month. I've a recipe in mind...! (to share with you all too)
*Kady is pretty much my closest friend here. Just saying. You'll hear a lot of "Kady and I did this or did that..." She's awesome and full of surprises!

I'm still a tiny bit sick, but I'm sure I'll get over it by the end of the weekend. I'm at the library, and I finished some important stuff... Off to have dinner and then study some more in my room! I'll be back soon with my goals for October.
...Don't you just love pumpkins?
Love,
