APOLOGIES & HAIRSTYLE

Hello hello! Well, I apologize, my reader friends! I'm leaving again tomorrow... for 9 days! I'm off to beautiful Barcelona with my mama. I still consider myself a rather "new" blogger, and it's important to keep blogging buuuut... I'm going to take another break. It does get exhausting sometimes. Especially right now because there are a million pictures on iPhoto that I want to put up and I don't know where or how to start. After the two week break when I was in Ireland, I felt kind of lost! This morning, I felt like I had writer's block or something. Didn't know what to say or post or anything. These past few days I've been writing songs, watching TV shows (hmmm new Breaking Bad episodes, anyone?), reading, packing for sunny Spain, cleaning my room, going to the park... not much excitement, no pictures taken. I haven't scheduled any posts for the time I'll be spending in Barcelona, so please be patient with me and I'll be back in 9 days with way way way more pictures and lovely memories to share! 

Still loads of things to do today, but I just had to try out this hairstyle! How does it look? I didn't do it with all my hair, it's too short or something. Wouldn't stay up. Anyway, one side was falling apart so I left the other one as you can see in the last picture. I like it like that too!

ROUGE BAISER

(Before I start - I'm not getting paid to say this!)
When my friend Rachel came to Paris, I found something great! We were in BHV once and I saw this really cool purplish lipstick. "Rouge Baiser" color 417. I decided that I had to get it! I wanted something other than the 'normal' red lipstick and this one looked great... well once it was on me, I loved it even more! The color is perfect. I've always loved to be a little different, and as I said, this wasn't a color I'd ever seen on anyone. Until that day, I had no idea it would actually look good! I'm wearing it in the picture above.
It's not just the color though. I still remember the morning after I wore it for the first time... it was still there! It stays on incredibly well. It's also not too expensive. It was 14 euros, I believe. Compared to some ridiculously priced lipsticks in Sephora, not too bad. It's funny 'cause when I told my friends Apolline and Eloise, they said "Oh yeah, we know, we use it too!"

So, next time you're in Paris (or anywhere this is sold) find yourself a nice Rouge Baiser lipstick! 

The next one I want to try is NARS (for the names. Names... incredible marketing tool! One is called Funny Face - which is one of my favorite Audrey Hepburn movies - and now I have to have it... just because it's Funny Face. There's one... Roman Holiday. Yep, need that too. Love Audrey, I do!) Anyone know what their lipsticks are like?

BITS & PIECES: IRELAND

Okay, so I've noticed that I have a million pictures that I want to put up on the blog of things that happened months ago! I don't really like that... I want the blog to follow my life, not go back and forth between past and present... I'm not going to let that happen to the pictures of Ireland. So before I let a month go by, here they are now! These are the last pictures I'll post of my time in Dublin, but I will do a post on the Lisa Hannigan concert! I have a looot of pictures. It was such great practice!

REAL LIFE

I thought all the feelings I had in Ireland would stay with me, but they're kind of... gone. I was a happy girl over there, taking the advice of my temporary housemate: letting go of things and just not caring too much. But I've caught myself feeling a little sad. A little sad to be here... I may be the first person alive to be sad to be in Paris! I exaggerate, of course. Paris isn't the problem. I had two magical weeks in Dublin and it's completely normal for me to be sad to leave. But I don't like the feeling of wanting to go back soooo much. I know that I'll be back next summer but here I am thinking "Ah, I wish it was next summer already!" That's bad though. I want to enjoy every day until then. Enjoy the present, and not wish for the future, because time goes by so incredibly quickly, I should hope every day lasts an eternity! I'll be fine, of course. I miss my friends, I miss the atmosphere, I miss the city... but I'll be totally fine. Ireland did change me! Or the people there... probably a mix of everything. So it's not like everything I learned there is gone!

I'll be back before I know it. Until then, life is happening here!
