Pumpkin season

Today I'm wearing this dress for the first time ever... I love it, absolutely love it! 

I went to see the Sunnyside toddlers today for the first time since I've been back. They were so cute. Unfortunately they had forgotten about me. Oh well, we all became friends again. It was fun.

I have a very challenging semester ahead of me... I'm already tired and it's only the second day.

BITS & PIECES

Today I went to two classes in the morning, then went home and did laundry, got some reading done, went to work, and at 7:30pm went to the "Intro to Queer Studies" class... I think my original thought was "Now I'll understand what 'queer' means and I'll learn new stuff about the world!  An hour later, the class ended and... what the f**k does 'queer' mean! So now, I am dropping that class and hoping to take Self-Defense instead! Woo yea! A lot more useful, I might add. 

(However, if you feel like explaining what it means to you, you can give it a shot, my ears are OPEN and anything helps!)

It's 9:40pm, I've done all the reading for tomorrow... Why don't I go crazy and do the reading for Wednesday as well! 

Tomorrow I'm wearing my new beautiful dress, so hopefully (if it isn't raining) I'll have a "what I wore today" post for you!

I'll shine for you

Today I really wanted to wear the t-shirt D gave me. He's all the way in Ireland, so it's all I really have right now. It's a Bell X1 t-shirt. Bell X1 is one of my favorite bands ever... You should listen to their music - seriously. But it's a big t-shirt, so the challenge was to make it a little more feminine. I really like this outfit. It's comfy and nice (plus, the t-shirt makes me feel good). However I haven't worn those boots in a long time, so I will let you know if I fall by the end of the day! (I can't tell you how many times I've fallen in those boots... actually, I can. Two or three times. More than enough! At least the stories make my mom laugh.)

Anyway, off to do college related things now!

Green are your eyes

Today is a busy day. Yesterday, I was supposed to do a lot... I ended up doing a lot of nothing. Worrying about things, feeling overwhelmed... Well today is different. It's a new day. I thought I'd wear some green (actually, that wasn't intentional, but I do love green). I'm at the library, in fact, and when I finish this post, I will be doing a lot of college related stuff! This semester, I'm taking: Intro to American Education, Foundations and Issues in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Intro to Sociology and Intro to Queer Studies. People ask me: "Oh, do you want to work with children later?" It's ok, understandable. But when my friends ask this, I think "Where have you been? I want to be a musician, you know that!" 

Anyway, here is what I wore today....
