Yesterday was an absolutely magical day. I woke up at around 5am, I think I may have gone back to sleep but a light sleep, so at 7:42am I was already up and wide awake before my alarm went off. I took a shower, went to breakfast and sat with some Wilder (my house) friends, then I was on my way to my International Politics class... I got there 20 minutes early. Always happens – good, I guess! Though I'm sure the class will be challenging, I enjoyed the introduction and I say... CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! After that, I headed over to Brain, Behavior & Emotion which turned out to be very interesting and I'm very happy to be taking it. I went back home and changed for my 3pm aerobics class but had a lot of time in between so I met up with my friend Anna at the campus center. I was so happy to run into my best little friend Dov and his dad. He's the cutest little two year old who goes to the daycare I used to volunteer at. He was always full of questions, half of which I could never answer. I haven't seen him since May so... he had no idea who I was. Oh well! Lets fast forward. Aerobics is going to be fun this semester. My heart was beating fast because I knew I was getting the guitar soon.
Fast forward again and I'm standing in my room with the guitar in the middle of it, still in its case while I clean up the mess. I refused to take it out until my room was perfect. I know, strange... Finally it was all nice and organized and I was able to play my guitar for the first time in my room... AMAZING. I have the most amazing guitar ever. I love it. I love it. I love it! Now I'm going to enjoy it for a week, and then take it back so they can add the pick up. Good thing I'll have my harmonium to entertain me by then! What a life... All good, all good!
Kady and I were on our way to Downtown Sounds at 4:45pm and I got more excited by the minute! I got there and Aaron was waiting for me, knowing fully well why I was there. I didn't even have to tell him what guitar I was getting, he knew. He grabbed the guitar, grabbed the beautiful hardcase, I paid and we were on our way. Kady and I decided to get LimeRed bubble tea to celebrate. Taro blizzard for me, thank you very much! It took a long time to get home because it was so heavy. I had to stop several times. I think I need to go to the gym...
