Hello hello! I am back at home #1, Paris. In three weeks I'll be back at home #2, Smith College... My, how the summer flew by. I can't believe how fast time goes by, it's crazy! Today I woke up at 4AM because my foot was itching. Why? Because apparently we have mosquitoes in Paris! I had no idea! I hate mosquitoes so so so much. And the stupid thing bit me on the palm of my hand too. I finally was able to go back to sleep around 5AM, and woke up at 10AM or so. I'm really proud of myself because instead of staying in pyjamas and doing nothing the whole rest of the morning, I quickly took a shower, put on a lovely dress that made me feel good, and went to the store to get some groceries. This summer, I've been eating a lot of the same thing every day while in Paris. A lot of crab sticks with a walnut & ricotta sauce (already made), and tarama on bread. That was my lunch almost every day. And even though I loooove those things, today I decided I wanted to buy something very different. I went with some fish ("Colin d'Alaska") and some spinach. I'm not usually a fan of fish with no taste, but once I got home, I made this white wine reduction sauce (no recipe, just invented!) and it was really good. Yay for trying new things!
Today, I'm going to continue unpacking, put up some videos of my friend Johnny Murphy singing his beautiful songs in Dublin, go through as many pictures as I can – edit, delete, etc, play some music, write some songs, clean my room, do some laundry... So little time, so many things to do!
Cheers!
Cheers!
PS. And, yes, that is a tattoo! I'm so happy with it. I got it with my wonderful friend Anthony in Ireland. He made sure I was in love with the heart before I got it and I'm so glad he did! It's exactly how I wanted it. Like a drawing and not just a normal heart you pick out of a book. Long and not fat. Know what I mean? So, yes, I am very happy :)
